Engaging Women/Teen On Their Own Turf
"Engaging Teen/Women On Their Own Turf", designed to teach hands-on life skills for independent living. This program will be offered in Webster, Clearlake, League City, and Southwest Houston.
The program is specifically designed for individuals who are currently living with a friend or family member, in a shelter, or own their own place, but need additional support and guidance to achieve independence. Our mission is to empower women, single mothers, and women affected by domestic violence and children to overcome the challenges they face.
Engaging Teen/Women On Their Own Turf must Participate In all Classes
Program Highlights:**
"One of the reasons we prioritize hands-on life skills is because they help create a sense of routine. When we learn and practice these skills, we establish a consistent pattern of behavior that becomes second nature. By doing so, we develop a sense of discipline and structure, which can have a positive impact on many areas of our lives. Additionally, incorporating hands-on skills into our daily routines can also help us develop a greater sense of self-sufficiency and independence, as well as improve our overall quality of life."
There is an intake process for those sign up for the program.
We will conduct an assessment to identify the needs and goals that we can address through teaching, and use this information to inform our instruction and support."
We do a home visit once or twice a week to make sure that the classes are implemented their daily routine.
