Women Connection, Inc., based in Houston, Texas, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering homeless women and children—including women with disabilities, mental illness, and survivors of domestic violence—so they can overcome hardships and rebuild their lives. We believe empowerment is a process where individuals are encouraged to take charge of their circumstances, improve access to resources, and transform their outlook through strengthened beliefs, values, and attitudes.

Our Women Connection Housing Program is a one-year transitional program where homeless women and children are placed in our care to learn essential, hands-on life skills before moving into independent housing. We recognize that every woman’s journey is unique, which is why our program is structured to meet the diverse needs of those we serve, from survivors of domestic violence to women facing mental health challenges or living with disabilities.

In addition, we provide permanent housing options for women with mental illness or disabilities, offering long-term support to help them maintain stability, independence, and dignity in a safe environment.
