Since 2001, this outreach ministry has been operating in a home based setting offering services to unwed mothers and their children during a crisis in Harris County and we are looking to expands our efforts to the surrounding areas. We are committed to meeting the physical and emotional needs of female-headed households while promoting higher standard of living that will be passed from generation to generation. Women Connection Inc. will be a place providing more than pampers, shoes or assistance with a utility bill. We will offer ongoing bible studies, abstinence campaigns, workshop and fellowship that will enhance the lives of single mothers. Assistance personal hygiene/ baby supplies,, structured mentoring program, cooking class,, children/ adult clothes, self- esteem health/ beauty classes and seminars life enhancement classes.
Women Connection Inc. is a faith- base non-profit organization that was found by Monique Davis a graduate in Child Development/Early Education. She has worked with all age groups from daycare, to teaching with the school, foster parenting, working with special needs children, daycare owner/director and women of domestic violence. Her main focus is how she can be a positive role model in young people lives through a positive learning experience for women and children in a Christian environment.
She bases Women Connection Inc. efforts on caring for these people strictly on God's Word that states in Titus 2:4-5 "That they may teach the young women to ,love their children. To be discreet, chastle, keepers at home, good obedient to their own husbands, that the word God be not blashemed", Proverbs 22:6 "Train a child in the way he should go when he is old he will not turn from it.", and Proverbs 31:10-31
She has proven true dedication to her work, and have strive to meet the needs of the people that come to her for assistance in every way she can.
